The Law

Did you know that under UK Health and Safety law, every employer must have at least one competent person who knows what they’re doing when it comes to Health and Safety in order to help make sure the workplace follows the law and keeps people safe?

This can be someone in the company (like a manager) or an external expert if no one in-house has the required knowledge.

Did you also know that there is a new Bill, known as Martyn’s Law, that aims to improve the Safety of public venues in the UK, including places of worship, which may (depending on the size of your congregation) require you to do more to put plans and measures in place to protect your congregation?

Don’t worry! SG Health & Safety can help!
